Nasal Glucagon could be a good alternative to intramuscular injectable glucagon for treating severe

A Phase III study presented at the 77th Scientific Sessions of American Diabetes Association (ADA) showed the viability of use of intranasal glucagon for normalizing blood glucose compared it with intramuscular glucagon for hypoglycemia.
The results of the study conducted at the University of Minnesota School of Medicine, Minneapolis, was considered "very exciting" by the Session´s Chair in regards of a new option to treat hypoglycemia.
